How much exercise do I need to be in shape?
Thirty minutes of exercise, three times a week would be enough to reap the cardiovascular benefits! Studies have shown that additional benefits can also be obtained by exercising five times a week. Obviously, those who want to run a half marathon or a full one will need to work out a little bit more!
Why should you not train every day?
The body is slow in adapting to the effects of working out, a process that mainly occurs during periods of rest or when you are sleeping. It’s therefore necessary to respect rest days to get the most out of your physical exercise.
